The Taurus New Moon & Ancient Memory Streams

There are many powerful insights being shared online about today’s Taurus New Moon, including several amazing videos recently uploaded by QSG practitioners on the Galactic Astrology YouTube channel.

Personally, I feel guided to share another layer of insight through the lense of ancient asteroids. What fascinated me while exploring the chart of this New Moon is that it forms aspects with several ancient asteroids connected to ancient civilization archetypes, including Giza, Horus, Magdalena and Nut linked to soul memories from Ancient Egypt, asteroids Odin and Frigga that I associate with Hyperborean archetypes, and asteroid Hawaii, which I observe in connection with Lemurian themes.

For those of us who study astrology through the lens of soul evolution across lifetimes, moments like this can feel like powerful openings into deeper memory streams within the psyche and soul.

What stands out strongly in this Taurus New Moon chart is the activation around 24-27 degrees across the zodiac, although those with placements in Taurus, Scorpio, Leo and Aquarius may feel this energy most directly.

 This New Moon also shines light on themes connected to beauty, wisdom, persecution and the transmutation of pain into divine inspiration due to the Sun and Moon activating Algol and Capulus in the Perseus constellation this weekend. I wrote a short post exploring that aspect of the transit HERE.

For some people, this may feel like a period where long-held inner wisdom, intuitive knowing or soul memories can no longer remain hidden beneath layers of self-protection, fear of judgment or hesitation. I would especially watch how this energy may affect those who naturally carry “high priestess” archetypes within their soul expression, individuals who feel deeply connected to cosmic symbolism, healing, spiritual guidance, ancient knowledge or the mysteries of consciousness itself. Taurus reminds us that true embodiment of spiritual insights matters. 

The Odin opposition especially caught my attention because Odin mythology carries strong themes of sacrifice in pursuit of wisdom, hidden knowledge, initiatory transformation and the willingness to see beyond surface reality. Frigg in quintile aspect may add another layer connected to intuitive feminine wisdom, weaving destiny, inner knowing and the unseen threads linking past, present and future experiences together.

Meanwhile Nut and Magdalena forming tension aspects to this New Moon may bring emotional pressure around opening more fully to one’s soul essence while balancing earthly life with spiritual remembrance.

For some, this energy may feel inspiring and activating. For others, deeply confronting. 

Algol and Capulus being emphasized in the sky at this time may intensify themes around reclaiming suppressed feminine wisdom, overcoming fear of judgment, releasing survival-based silence and finding courage to express deeper truths in grounded and constructive ways.

Over the years, I have noticed that many people carry strong emotional, symbolic and intuitive responses to certain ancient civilizations and mythologies without always understanding why. Some feel an immediate resonance with Ancient Egypt, others with Norse mythology, Atlantis, Lemuria, Hyperborea or other ancient timelines and archetypal stories. Sometimes this connection expresses through dreams, strong emotional reactions, lifelong fascinations, intuitive knowing, creative inspiration or a feeling that certain symbols seem strangely familiar.

I have consistently observed that when certain asteroids become strongly activated through natal placements, transits or progressions, they often correlate with periods of remembering past lives, experiencing a theme linked with the particular asteroid symbolism, to soul-level healing linked to a theme connected to the activated asteroid, to spiritual awakening, or a deeper curiosity about the soul’s journey through time.

This New Moon may therefore feel unusually reflective for some people. Taurus energy tends to slow the nervous system down enough for deeper feelings, memories and realizations to surface more clearly. While Uranus nearby in Gemini can bring up information that offers liberation and expansion.

Rather than constantly pushing forward, there may be value in observing what naturally arises within you over the coming days.

Sometimes these recognitions help people feel less alone, less random, and more connected to the larger unfolding story of their existence.
